Billions of small businesses' hard-earned American dollars flow through a system that is very broken and filled with corruption. Merchants deserve better. They deserve a Congress that won't continue burying the deceit.

The Problem..
President Obama, the Senate, and House think Americans should pay as high as 35% interest on their credit cards. If they're willing to hurt the American public in this way, how much do you think they care about small businesses?

Ironically, CEOs of banks make millions of dollars each year due to THEIR mismanagement of OUR money which costs American families $11 Trillion in wealth. They overcharge American businesses $75 Billion in the form of credit card interchange in addition to the billions they make in credit card fees. And for all their hard work in stealing merchants' profits, CEO's receive $4.7 Trillion from taxpayers.

What did they do with all that money? They used part of it to buy the Senate and Congress for $48.3 Million with $16.9 Million being allocated to the Financial Services Committee. Makes you wonder which influences them more - the $174,000 annual average salary the American people pay them to protect us, or the $16.9 Million??

Interestingly, the Senators and Congressional Representatives who speak out against the financial institutions are some of the highest paid. Sounds like a smoke screen…. after all, who better to write the laws but your enemies disguised as your friends.

The Senators who take the most:
Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) $2.2 Million
Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) $1.2 Million Harry Reid (D-Nev.) $1.1 Million

The last three attempts at reform have gone nowhere: Dick Durbin's bill S. 1212H.R. 2382, Credit Card Interchange Fees Act of 2009, and H. R. 5546, and Credit Card Interchange Fees Act of 2008. Congress has been promising to look into the misuse of interchange for years.

We don't need any more talk or broken promises. The Merchant Relief Council is made up of former bank executives and lawyers that want to "Right the Wrong." We want to take this fight to the Hill, but we cannot do it alone; we need your help so that we can help you.

It may seem like the banks and Congress have all the money and power, but it's not true... the people do! They may have figured out how to use our money against us, but that is all about to change. There are many movements to take this country back and put people first again instead of corporate greed. Now is the time!

The media gives a pass to the Senate and House by showing just the tip of the
corruption iceberg, so that they can say at least they have given it coverage.
